Sade Ogunbode Pfeifer is a solo practitioner helping families and clients navigate the sometimes treacherous legal waters. She is mostly involved with family law matters where she concerns herself with securing the well-being of children caught in the middle of adult issues. She also works on consumer law cases of various types and especially enjoys leveling the playing field between the everyday consumer and slick business entities.
She is actively involved in immigration matters affecting women and children’s rights and takes on immigration cases concerning domestic violence on a pro bono (volunteer) basis. Her passion lies in empowering people who may otherwise not have the support or stamina to withstand legal turbulence.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Houston, received her J.D. from South Texas College of Law and worked as a software analyst prior to practicing law. She is a volunteer with Child Advocates Inc., American Gateways, Volunteer Legal Services, and is a member of Texas Lawyers for Children.
Sade is a first generation American and speaks Yoruba as her native tongue. She enjoys experiencing cultural nuances, reading, culinary adventures, documentaries, live music, dancing, and board games. She secretly aspires to be a professional food taster, zumba instructor and a boxer. She is married and currently lives in Austin, Texas with her husband Terry where they enjoy the beautiful outdoors, unique culture and musicality of the city.
